Hola. Trabajo bien hecho (job well done!). Bloggers today are the faculty leads Philip Burge and Linda Hill pictured here with our Cross Cultural Solutions National Director, Lawrence Book McKnight.

This was our final day in placement. Students at the primary school completed English lessons with each of the 6 classes and finished painting the exterior wall mural depicting friendship between Canada and Peru.

The School's Director and teachers hosted our students with a generous good-bye lunch. Cards were made by children to thank our students for their time and expertise in the classroom. The creative cards were touchingly received with thanks.

The Early Year's School was a buzz with activities on our last day. The teachers had a special thank you event for our students and presented them each with hand made Peruvian gloves. Each teaching team - Peruvian teachers and our students, were photographed for the school archives.

Humber students donated educational resources to both Schools with approval from our partner organization.
Students are enjoying free-time this weekend. Two students have already embarked on previously arranged extensions to the southern city of Cusco. We are enjoying our final weekend before returning to Canada.
Adios!
